From Confusion to Confidence: How to Make Decisions with Clarity

FACT: deciding whether (or not) to sell your home is one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions you will ever make. We call this a complex decision. One that requires lots of inputs and information from various sources to gain clarity over the entire situation as it arises. Not to mention sprinkled with a cocktail of emotions coursing through your system.

  • What do I need to do?
  • Who do I need to talk to?
  • What sort of preparation do I need?
  • How do I feel about this?
  • How will this affect my family, relationships and community?

No wonder we feel overwhelm and spiral in to the depths of overthinking . After all, it is statistically one of the most stressful times in our lives and the lives of our loved ones.

Here’s the rub . . . I want to change that for you. Or rather give you the tools to empower you to take it on with confidence and clarity.

Do you have a decision making model for life’s big questions?

Do you have a decision making model around selling your home? Too often decisions are made without deeply considering all aspects of the process. Why? because we can’t see the full perspective of what is involved. Bringing in multiple perspectives can empower you emotionally and financially to make the appropriate decision when it matters most for you and your family.

How can you find the answers when you don’t know what the questions are?

True story (share alert) “I so totally and completely GET YOU”. I have been in your shoes and it can be extremely overwhelming. Whether you are thinking of selling, buying, you’re tenant or an investor each point on the compass has its own very real challenges. It took me 5 years to make the decision to finally sell our family home. It was 5 years of indecision, weighing up pro’s and con’s, imagined outcomes, market movements, dispersed energy, yep and all the rest. I know! . . . and we are in the real estate game.

Of course there are things you can never factor in like Covid, building cost increases and market movements but you can be very clear and decisive about what you do know. I want to get you clear on exactly what that is so you can use this quality information to make well formed decisions.

The hopes and dreams; expectations and disappointments that envelope us are real and can be managed.”

As a developmental coach I have access to and knowledge of some of the greatest minds and models. The model I am creating for you is inspired by Ken Wilber and his Integral Theory. A theory of all theories. This assessment seeks to offer a holistic perspective by taking into account various dimensions or viewpoints, as depicted in the Quadrants.

It’s pretty cool and nothing like this has ever been applied to client service in real estate before.

My Intention is . . . save you 5 years of your life!

I want to show you how you can bring in to awareness the full spectrum of what is before you and answer meaningful questions that cause you to go inside and figure this “stuff” out. Moving you forward in your life and your property goals.

Instead of meeting your agent unprepared (whomever you choose to go with) I have created this assessment tool for you to gain visibility over your current position providing you with more certainty and preparedness for the journey ahead.

“Prior to, during and after the transaction the lingering effects shape our lives and the lives of our loved ones for many years to come.”

As a part of the MyPlace Community this tool is yours for free.
